The Amesbury millyard is one of the northshore’s hidden gems; a community amphitheater nestled among historic New England mill buildings, once driven by the rush of water over the Powow River falls.
It’s a gathering spot, a performance area, a nature walk, a park all combined in a stretch bordered by Main St. (where you’ll find the arched, downtown entrance), Friend St.(off which you’ll find ample parking), Pond St.(with a beautiful view down the Powow River) and completed by High St. which brings you back to Amesbury’s distinctive Market Square.

Come to the Amesbury Millyard for an afternoon of browsing, shopping and/or dining. Relax in the millyard, before, during and/or after…
There’s always something to see, whether it’s a life music performance, a dance recital, art event or just to enjoy a wonderful New England evening of relaxation, contemplating the falls.
Sample the many fine pubs, eatery’s & art attractions Our Town has to offer. You’ll be pleasantly surprised.
